Who this is for

This is the right ticket for most adult visitors — the full museum, permanent collection plus the current temporary exhibition, in one timed visit. Under-18s enter free with you and need no ticket. Seniors 65+ and students under 26 should book the reduced ticket instead; visitors short on time can choose the permanent-collection-only option.

On the day

Arrive at the Palacio de Buenavista, Calle San Agustín 8, a few minutes before your slot and show the QR code on your phone at the entrance. Once inside you can stay as long as you like during opening hours — allow about two hours for the collection and palace, plus 30–45 minutes for the temporary exhibition and a quarter-hour for the Phoenician, Roman and Moorish remains in the basement.

Frequently asked

Is the ticket for a specific time slot?
Yes — entry is by timed slot, which we secure when you book. Your QR e-ticket admits you at that time, and once inside you can stay as long as you like during opening hours.
Do children need a ticket?
No — under-18s enter the museum free. We don't sell a child ticket and will never charge for one; bring ID for your under-18s and they walk in with you on your slot.
What's the difference from the collection-only ticket?
The combined ticket adds the current temporary exhibition to the permanent collection. Exhibitions change through the year and frequently bring major loans — most visitors choose the combined visit.
How long does the visit take?
Allow 1.5–2 hours for the permanent collection and the palace, plus 30–45 minutes for the temporary exhibition and about 15 minutes for the archaeological basement.
